Eric is an English teacher at Spencerport High School, and an elder (current clerk of session) at Cornerstone Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Greece, NY, and past Vice President of the board at Rochester Christian School. Eric and his wife Julie (faculty 2010 to present) are parents to three Csehy campers: Jonathan, Catharine, and Elizabeth. Eric is a graduate of Houghton College (BA-English) and Brockport College (MA-English).
David M. Shockey has had a 43-year career as a professor of voice and diction, and as a choir director. He earned a B.S. in Music education from Roberts Wesleyan College, a M.M. in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University. Performance credits include Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” for the Rome Festival Association. Together with his wife, he is co-director of music at First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, New Jersey. David has been associated with the Csehy Summer School of Music since 1977.
DJ is Director of Finance & Administration at Roanoke - Blacksburg Regional Airport and former Senior Manager - Assurance Services at KPMG. DJ and Julie live in Roanoke, VA and are parents to former campers, Joel and Olivia. DJ is a graduate of Rider University (BSBA) and is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealths of Virginia and Pennsylvania. DJ is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Virginia Society of CPAs.
Shelley brings more than two decades of experience as a mother and grandmother of Csehy campers since 1994. As the mother of eight children and living much of her life in Dubai, she has recruited campers from not only the United States, but also from Australia, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Kenya and Sri Lanka. Shelley has served on the board of trustees since 2011 because of her love of sacred and classical music, and her belief in the value of Csehy in the lives of students and alumni worldwide.
Sandra is Sr. Director, Cybersecurity at Comcast. She lives near Philadelphia with her husband Arnaldo and teenagers, Colette and Caleb. Her children started Suzuki instruction at age 3 and now play violin and viola for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. Sandra is a graduate of Duke University (BS) and Stanford University (MS) in Electrical Engineering.
Pastor Dan Pastor Dan resides in central Virginia where he serves as Pastor of Reedy Spring Baptist Church. He is a graduate of both Liberty University and Liberty Theological Seminary. Dan has served churches in both Virginia and Florida and has a desire to help people discover and live out their true identity in Christ. Dan married his wife Laura in 2004 and is a dad to Layna Joy and Evan Daniel.
Paul Is Sr. VP for Enrollment & Marketing at Cairn University (cairn.edu), co-founder and Chief Research Officer at Charter Oak Research (charteroak.us), a marketing research consulting firm and Senior Fellow at Center for the Advancement of Christian Education at Dordt College (cace.org). Paul and Elizabeth live in Wayne with their 3 teenage daughters—Maya, Daphne and Ersy. Paul is a graduate of Eastern (B.A.), Villanova (M.A.) and Temple University (Ph.D., ABD).
Colleen Sweetsir has served on the Csehy Board of Trustees since July 2012. Since 2009, she has been the Executive Director of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities and training for young musicians. She is the associate conductor of the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony and active in music education and music advocacy. Colleen was a member of the United States Coast Guard Band during our nations bicentennial and continues to be an active French hornist. She is thankful for the opportunity to serve God by be a part of His work at Csehy Summer School of Music.
