Kelly Hayes is passionate about teaching old truth to young people. He gets to live out that passion by coordinating chapel events, teaching classes (in Bible, worldview, worship), and heading up biblical integration efforts at The King’s Academy in Florence, SC. He has worked as pastor and teacher in a number of different environments and groups that have spanned age, size, and region. Kelly earned an undergraduate degree in Worship and Music from Liberty University. He continued his education by attending Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and earning graduate degrees in theological studies, religious education, and practical theology. In 2018, he graduated from Southern Seminary upon completing a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree. And, of course, another school has been highly influential in Kelly's life — the Csehy Summer School of Music. He attended Csehy as a camper (2000-2005), a counselor (2006), and a chapel speaker (2007-2015, 2019). Kelly and his wife, Jess, are members of the Church at Sandhurst where they partner to lead a college-age small group.
