Thomas is from Northeastern Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor of music education with a double major in music education and Bible from Clarks Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College). He is currently in progress of both a Master of Music degree in education from Kutztown university as well as certification in biblical counseling through ACBC.
Tom has studied both composition and clarinet and has had unique and wonderful opportunities in both areas. He recently has had some music commissioned and has some promising prospects in the near future for more.
Tom is currently a music teacher at Dallas area school district in Dallas, PA. Tom directs the 8th grade band, 9-12th grade band, and marching band. He also teaches theory, guitar, and digital music. Tom also has private clarinet and composition students. In addition, he is principal clarinet with the Northerntier Symphony Orchestra and 1st clarinet with the Northeast Appalachian Wind Ensemble.
Tom also is quite active at his church (High Point Baptist Church). He serves on the music team, he is one of the youth group teachers, and has temporarily directed the music for a few months during a time of transition. He hopes to begin in the counseling ministry at his church with preliminary ACBC certification by the end of the summer.
His hobbies include cooking Italian food, learning Italian, growing plants and herbs, and studying the Bible.
