ChamberFest was established in 2014 as an honor for our upper level musicians. The purpose of ChamberFest is to give participants an opportunity to work in chamber ensembles with musicians of equal caliber on advanced repertoire and to train them as musical and spiritual leaders.

Students work and perform in chamber groups and are mentored by a faculty coach throughout the week. ChamberFest campers are required to attend at least 1-week of the High School session.

During the ChamberFest week, students meet as a group at least twice a day with their coach, with practice time in between to work on individual parts. The daily schedule includes chapel, singtime, free time, and devotions in the evening. We also have an Artist in Residence who holds masterclasses for each of the chamber groups, attends group coachings, and performs a recital for all the ChamberFest participants.

ChamberFest guest artists have included Rachel Ku (Philadelphia Orchestra, Viola), Sarita Kwok (Gordon College, Violin), Heidi Louise Williams (Florida State University, Piano), Christopher Wu (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Violin), Bryan Dumm (Cleveland Orchestra, Cello), Anne Martindale Williams (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Principal Cello), Clark Potter (Lincoln Symphony, Principal Viola).
