Violinist Natalie Rudoi DaSilva enjoys a diverse career in performance and education. She performs frequently throughout the Philadelphia area with ensembles such as the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Ballet, and Opera Philadelphia. She has also appeared as a guest musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Notable conductors she has worked under include Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Vladimir Jurowski, Donald Runnicles, Bramwell Tovey, Christopher Warren-Greene, Rossen Milanov, and Michael Stern. As an educator, Natalie currently maintains a private studio out of her home in New Jersey. She has previously served on the faculty of the School of Music at Cairn University and at Temple Prep’s Center for Gifted Young Artists.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Natalie began her studies on violin at the age of five. She is an alumna of Temple Prep’s Center for Gifted Young Artists and her former teachers include Kimberly Fisher and Yumi Ninomiya Scott. She made her solo debut at the age of 15 with the Cairn University Orchestra as first place winner of the Outstanding Young Christian Artists Competition. As soloist, she has appeared with the Kennett Symphony Orchestra, the Manalapan Battleground Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Institute of Music Symphony Orchestra, Symphony in C, and has also been featured on Philadelphia’s WRTI-FM Classical and Jazz radio. Natalie is the recipient of many awards such as the Lou Kotlus Memorial award, the Tuesday Musical Society Scholarship award, and the Starling Scholarship award at ENCORE School for Strings.

Natalie completed both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Her primary studies were under David Cerone, Linda Cerone, and William Preucil.
