Eric Runion
PRESIDENT
Eric is an English teacher at Spencerport High School, an elder at Cornerstone Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Greece, NY, and past Vice President of the board at Rochester Christian School. Eric and his wife Julie (faculty 2011-present) are parents to three former Csehy campers: Jonathan, Catharine, and Elizabeth. Eric is a graduate of Houghton College (BA-English) and Brockport College (MA-English).

David Shockey
VICE-PRESIDENT
David M. Shockey has had a 44-year career as a professor of voice and diction, and as a choir director. He earned a B.S. in Music education from Roberts Wesleyan College, a M.M. in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University. Performance credits include Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” for the Rome Festival Association. Together with his wife, he is co-director of music at First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, New Jersey. David has been associated with the Csehy Summer School of Music since 1977.

Karl Russo
TREASURER
Dr. Karl Russo is a Principal and leads the National Economics and Statistics practice of PwC. Prior to joining PwC, Karl served as a tax economist in Congress and in the Treasury Department. Karl received a B.S. in economics summa cum laude and earned his Ph.D. in applied economics and managerial science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Colleen Sweetsir
SECRETARY
Colleen has been a dedicated music educator and arts administrator for over 35 years, teaching instrumental, choral, and general music to K-12 students. She served as Executive Director of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County for 12 years, coordinating educational arts programming, community outreach, and leading five international concert tours. Prior to her work in music education, Colleen performed with the United States Coast Guard Band across the country. She is currently the associate conductor of the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony and serves on the boards of two non-profit music organizations, advocating for the arts.

Tim Hayes
Tim serves as a VP for Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC where he leads construction of large-scale solar power plants that generate electricity from sunlight for the US utility network. Tim and his wife, Cindy, have been engaged in the support and development of Csehy Summer School of Music for more than 25 years. Their four children grew up in Csehy as campers and then went on to serve in various roles as counselors, faculty and chapel speakers. Tim is passionate about equipping and inspiring the next generations to excel as musicians and as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Barbara Hull
Barbara Hull is an Associate Professor in Residence of studio trumpet at UNLV, holding a Doctorate of Musical Arts in trumpet performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she earned the Performer's Certificate and studied with James Thompson and Charles Geyer. Previously, she taught trumpet at Nazareth College and performed with Symphoria, the Skaneateles Summer Music Festival, and the Rochester Chamber Orchestra. She has held principal trumpet positions with the Albany Symphony and New Mexico Symphony, recording under Decca and Albany Records. Dr. Hull is principal trumpet with Ensemble Monterey and a Yamaha performing artist.

David Jeavons
David (DJ) Jeavons, CPA, is the Director of Finance and Administration at the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission. He earned a BSBA in Accounting at Rider University. David grew up in Csehy’s home church in Flemington, NJ, and has been involved in Csehy since 1977. His late wife Julie was a counselor at Csehy and his children Joel and Olivia attended Csehy for several years as campers.

Jonathan Rajaseelan
Jonathan Rajaseelan works as a biodefense specialist for the U.S. Government. He previously held a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Jonathan earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.S. in Music from Yale University, and he is an active chamber musician and organist in the Washington D.C. area. He attended Csehy as a camper from 2006-2011, and served on the piano faculty from 2016-2017.

Janette Stanley
Janette Stanley earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and her Master of Music in Music Education from Roberts Wesleyan University, as well as her Master of Arts in Music Leadership from the Eastman School of Music. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of music history at Roberts Wesleyan University. Janette has conducted ensembles such as the New Philharmonic Orchestra in Sofia, Bulgaria, the Czech Philharmonic, the London Chamber Players, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Westside Chamber Orchestra in Rochester, NY. She also enjoys video and audio production, particularly within classical music contexts.

Brian Zhu
Brian is currently an assistant manager at SEI Investments, where his team provides technology and investment management services to corporations and financial institutions. He earned a B.B.A in Actuarial Science at Temple University. Brian attended Csehy as a camper from 2004-2009, and worked as a camp counselor from 2010-2013.
